Atlheritage's Brad Schiele (Chair of Angels and Friends Foundation) presented students and staff at the Sutherland School in Saskatoon with equipment to support an interactive audio station. Check out Angels and Friends Foundation's latest post:
What an exciting day for the students & staff at Sutherland School in Saskatoon, and for our Angels & Friends team! This morning we announced that Angels & Friends has supported a literacy and education initiative at Sutherland school for the purchase of an interactive audio station. The ipads and other equipment that form the station will enable up to 12 students to collaborate on school work.
The passionate staff members from Sutherland school who have been working with our team on this initiative describe the system as one that will “create inclusive learning opportunities for students with intellectual disabilities” while “providing access to learning opportunities regardless of intellectual ability”. Given our current focus on inclusive education, this wish application was a great fit for Angels & Friends.
As always, thank you to the folks who support Angels & Friends. Your financial contributions are what enable us to improve the lives of Saskatchewan children with intellectual disabilities.
